Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams,
Oh My!

Video conferencing has become a necessity for business to continue to operate by allowing employees to work from home, and for schools to continue to educate students. There are several good video conferencing software available which can make it hard to know which one to use. My three favorite are Google Meets, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. In my experience all three are reasonably affordable and for the most part easy to use.

Microsoft Teams is well suited for users within an organization or users of office 365. Popular among Government agencies. Microsoft Teams is messaging-focused, if you are looking for video-focused meetings Google Meets is a better choice.

Zoom  offers a great video conferencing software for internal or external teams. To get the best experience you have to download and install Zoom before joining a Zoom meeting on a computer or mobile device,

Google Meets is video-focused. It is used by many educators and universities. Formerly Google hangouts has now been re-branded to Google Meets. You can start a meeting or join a meeting from any modern browser on your desktop or laptop. There’s no additional software to install and offers very user friendly features for non technical users.
